The handmade Solar M6 camera is a high resolution, cost effective camera-scanner for scanning a wide variety of originals including 35mm slides, glass plates, x-rays, maps, paintings and books. The excellent depth of focus means that 3D objects and artefacts may also be captured in fine detail.

Fit the M6 to a purpose built, modular, Solar copy-base and books and documents of all sizes may be scanned safely face up. Transparencies are back lit with the optional high frequency, cold lamp light box.

Controlling the M6 is the award winning and specially adapted SilverFast Ai Studio capture software. For the professional and novice user SilverFast offers a precise controller with excellent tools for perfecting every scan. SilverFast may be imbedded as a plug-in to Adobe Photoshop, stand alone as a self-contained application or integrate with many TWAIN compatible applications.
